One Year In, SWARM (SN124) Secures Two Customers and Opens Its Robotics Lab

In one year, SWARM (SN124) signs its first two autonomous drone contracts for solar security in Greece and avalanche control in Andorra, raises €370K, and opens a robotics lab in Andorra.

One Year In, SWARM (SN124) Secures Two Customers and Opens Its Robotics Lab

SWARM has signed its first two customer contracts, bringing its drone technology closer to real-world commercial deployment.

SWARM (SN124) develops AI-powered autonomous systems for real-world applications, including drone security and industrial operations.

The contracts cover autonomous security for solar power plants in Greece and avalanche-control operations at a ski resort in Andorra. Both were secured within the past two months, one year after SWARM began operations.

Two Contracts for Real-World Applications

SWARM’s first customer, German Solar Power, will use its Sentinel system to monitor solar facilities in Greece.

The system uses autonomous drones to patrol sites, detect intruders, and alert human operators. Feasibility testing has been completed, with on-site trials scheduled for Q1 2027.

The second contract, with MEVI DRONS, involves developing a drone system that can carry and release avalanche-control charges at Andorra’s largest ski resort. Pilots will retain full control over the release process, with prototype development and flight testing planned.

SWARM Raises €370K and Opens Andorra Lab

Alongside the contracts, SWARM secured €370,000 in funding from EverBlueGreen and inaugurated its physical laboratory in Andorra.

The lab is already producing flight hardware for a paying customer. SWARM also appointed Júlia Marsal as CTO and expects its first full-time Autonomy ML Engineer to join on November 1.

The team has demonstrated sim-to-real transfer through SOTAPilot and publicly showcased SWARM Sentinel at Exploit Summit Montreal and World Summit AI Amsterdam.

What’s Next?

Over the next six months, SWARM will focus on completing Sentinel’s first operational system, securing flight authorization in Greece, and conducting avalanche-control prototype and snow trials. The team also plans to expand into additional solar facilities and ski resorts worldwide.

With its first two contracts signed, SWARM’s next milestone is demonstrating that its autonomous systems can reliably deliver results for customers in real-world environments.
