Yanez (SN54) hit its first production milestone, deploying Proof of Humanhood and Uniqueness through YID and putting the technology into real hands via Syklo, a peer-to-peer fiat-to-crypto protocol preparing a full relaunch.
Every liquidity provider on Syklo now carries a biometrically verified identity. Transactions can be gated behind biometric 2FA that cannot be intercepted or spoofed.
Anyone banned from the protocol stays banned at the biological level, cutting off the return-with-a-new-account cycle that quietly drains most peer-to-peer marketplaces.
One person, one account, permanent by design.
The Structural Fraud YID Closes
Peer-to-peer platforms share the same weak point: the disconnect between an account and the person supposedly behind it. That disconnect creates three escalating attack patterns that YID neutralizes at different layers.

1. Bot-driven account farms: Automated systems can generate hundreds of synthetic accounts for pennies, then use them to spike reputation scores, spam fake listings, or drain legitimate users. Biometric verification at signup makes this economically unworkable.
2. Mule networks and identity rental: Once bots get blocked, sophisticated actors recruit real people to lend their verified status. YID caps every human at one account, meaning even a willing renter can only ever back a single identity, breaking the economics of collusion at scale.
3. Ban evasion: No system stops a legitimate person from committing fraud once. The damage compounds when that person creates a fresh account and continues. YID binds bans to a biological signature, so re-entry under a new name becomes impossible.
Each vector gets closed at a different point in the account lifecycle: signup, scale, and post-detection.
What Went Live on Syklo Today
Three protocol-level features shipped alongside the announcement, targeting the highest-value functions first.
1. YID as biometric 2FA: Users can now protect transactions with YID rather than SMS or hardware tokens. Roll-out begins with transacting because it carries the most direct financial stake, then expands to other sensitive actions over time.
2. Market maker gating: Anyone providing liquidity on Syklo must hold a YID. Uniqueness enforcement means no operator can quietly run multiple liquidity accounts to manipulate order flow or reputation.
3. Permanent bad-actor removal: A common P2P attack involves middlemen listing stolen or fake liquidity and vanishing with buyer deposits. YID locks bans to biology so the same person cannot re-enter under a fresh alias.
What Comes Next on the Roadmap
The Syklo integration expands across four future surfaces, each pulling more of the protocol’s economic weight through YID.
1. Sybil-proof growth incentives: Syklo’s Stellar-backed relaunch includes referral and reward programs. Proof of Uniqueness is projected to cut new customer acquisition costs by at least a third by eliminating farm-and-claim tactics.
2. Cross-client referrals: Syklo earns rewards when its users pick up other Yanez ecosystem products, giving every client protocol a shared user acquisition surface rather than fragmented ones.
3. Biowallet migration: Syklo will move its internal wallet to a full biowallet backed by YID, enabling recovery across devices and eliminating loss from compromised keys.
4. The Yanez Badge: A visible mark of verified uniqueness attached to each participant, so counterparties immediately see whether they are dealing with a confirmed unique human with no recorded fraud history.
5. Faster dispute resolution: Adjudicators open every case knowing both parties are verified unique humans, which narrows the dispute to the actual transaction rather than questions about identity. Escrow times drop, dispute team costs drop, and cases with detected fraud never reach human adjudication at all.
What Yanez Does Not Try to Be
Yanez is not an identity management platform, does not hold personal information, does not run compliance workflows, and does not build user profiles. It provides two primitives, cleanly separated.
1. Proof of Humanhood: Biometric confirmation that a real, living person sits behind an account.
2. Proof of Uniqueness: Cryptographic guarantees that each human backs exactly one account across the protocol.
That is the entire product surface. Client protocols like Syklo build everything else on top of the trust those two primitives establish.
Growth Without Diluted Trust
Syklo needs aggressive user growth to make the relaunch work, and every account without a real person behind it becomes a potential attack surface.
YID lets Syklo scale without eroding the trust that existing participants rely on. Verification happens once through biometric onboarding, and from that moment the uniqueness of an account becomes a permanent property rather than something re-checked with every login. The protocol scales, and every trade inside it happens between verified humans.
For any P2P marketplace paying attention to this deployment, the model itself is the takeaway: a narrow trust primitive that plugs into an existing protocol, closes structural fraud vectors at the biological layer, and lets the marketplace focus on shipping product rather than defending it.
