Yanez (SN54) launched its YID app on both Google Play and the Apple App Store, giving users a way to prove they are real, unique human beings without ever uploading a photo or biometric data.

The app turns a user’s face into a private mathematical key that lives entirely on their device, then uses that key to sign in and confirm transactions on any partner platform. The first user onboarding rollout is heading to Syklo next, with more partner integrations coming soon.
The bigger read is that Yanez just shipped a working alternative to the traditional identity verification model, where users hand over their data and trust it will not be misused.
How YID Works
Yanez YID app solves the identity verification problem by keeping the identity on the user’s phone rather than in a company’s database.

1. 100% On-Device Biometrics: The user’s face gets processed on their phone, and the resulting mathematical key never leaves the device.
2. Real-Person Proof: Instant verification that the user is a live human rather than a bot, through secure liveness checks.
3. Zero Photos Stored: No image ever gets uploaded, saved to a server, or added to a database.
4. Zero Biometric Data Uploaded: The system verifies without transmitting the underlying biometric information anywhere.
5. User Controls Every Request: Each sign-in or transaction requires explicit review, approval, and a cryptographic signature from the user.
The workflow is designed around one principle: nothing about the user leaves the phone that could later be hacked, sold, or leaked in a data breach.
Why This Matters Now
The problem YID addresses is one that has been getting worse across the internet at the same time AI has made it harder to tell humans and bots apart.
1. Traditional identity systems concentrate risk. Every centralized ID verifier is a target, and every database of biometric data is a future breach waiting to happen.
2. Bots and deepfakes are compounding. The cost of impersonating a real person online drops every quarter, and existing systems were built when that was still expensive.
3. Users want proof of humanness without surveillance. The demand is for verification that works without giving up control of the underlying data.

YID sits at the intersection of those three pressures, providing proof of humanness that is cryptographically strong without ever taking custody of the user’s biometrics.
Where Yanez Is Heading
Sign up once with YID, and the same key handles every future verification across every integrated platform. Syklo is the next user onboarding integration, and Yanez has signaled more partners are following.

For any platform tired of choosing between weak verification and invasive verification, YID is the first serious answer that ships as a real app on real app stores today.
➛ YID is now downloadable from Google Play or Apple App Store.
