Vidaio, the decentralized AI video infrastructure provider, has announced a joint venture with London-based post-production specialist Pip Studios, in a deal aimed at embedding its AI tooling inside workflows that already serve some of the world’s largest content owners.
Under the agreement announced today, Vidaio’s AI-native suite covering upscaling, compression, localisation, and optimisation, will be integrated into Pip Studios’ production pipeline. Pip Studios is a member of the Trusted Partner Network (TPN), the content-security framework used by major Hollywood studios, and operates Dolby Atmos and IMAX-certified facilities.
The companies say the venture gives Pip Studios access to next-generation AI capabilities while exposing Vidaio to real-world enterprise video workloads from clients including Netflix, Amazon, Sony, Universal, and Paramount. Vidaio will not contract with those studios directly; the work flows through Pip Studios’ existing commercial relationships.
“Pip Studios brings deep industry knowledge and a strong network of trusted relationships, while Vidaio brings a suite of AI-powered tools that expand what’s possible in content services,” said Gareth Howells, founder of Vidaio. “This partnership creates immediate value for both companies and their customers.”
Mark Sheffield, CEO of Pip Studios, framed the deal as a route to scaling capacity without compromising on quality. “By introducing Vidaio’s technology, we can deliver greater efficiency and new capabilities at scale while maintaining the quality the industry expects,” he said. “This is about expanding what we can offer and creating new opportunities for growth.”
A test case for Bittensor’s enterprise narrative
For Bittensor, the announcement is a notable data point in the network’s broader push to demonstrate enterprise traction beyond crypto-native use cases. Rather than competing for individual creators, Vidaio is positioning VidaioOS, its decentralized video processing layer, as backend infrastructure inside an existing, trust-certified supply chain.
That distinction matters commercially. Studios and streamers demand TPN-grade security and predictable service levels that decentralized networks have historically struggled to demonstrate on their own. Routing work through an established partner sidesteps much of that friction and shifts the compliance burden to a counterparty already inside the trust perimeter.
The companies say the venture could open the door to what they describe as “50+ major partnerships” through Pip Studios’ existing client base.
