Miners submit immutable model checkpoints, which are evaluated by a validator using paired cross-entropy scoring against the current 'king' model. Successful challengers replace the king, and subnet weights are updated accordingly. The system supports secure model uploads, registration, and evaluation, with each participant using an ed25519 hotkey for authentication and encrypted credential management. Teutonic streamlines the process of model contribution and validation, fostering a competitive environment for advancing machine learning models within the subnet.
