Orion is a decentralized data subnet operating on the Bittensor network, designed to discover, generate, and curate high-quality training data for large language models (LLMs). It organizes data-mining campaigns where miners process assigned source data into model-ready datasets, which are then validated and rewarded based on verified quality and usefulness. The system ensures only valid, non-duplicated, and high-value submissions are rewarded, supporting domains like coding, mathematics, technical data, and general knowledge. Orion leverages a campaign-driven workflow with orchestrators, miners, and validators, and integrates with the Quasar model as its first consumer.
