Axis Robotics Partners with OpenRoboto to Advance Decentralized Robotics AI

Axis Robotics brings 3M+ multimodal robotics trajectories to OpenRoboto (SN80), powering physical AI training, benchmarking, and verifiable model evaluation.

Axis Robotics Partners with OpenRoboto to Advance Decentralized Robotics AI

Axis Robotics announced its partnership with OpenRoboto (SN80), bringing its data capabilities directly into the Bittensor ecosystem.

Axis is supplying over 3 million multimodal trajectories to OpenRoboto’s Open Data Pool for miners training physical AI models on the π0.5 base.

It will also support OpenRoboto’s benchmarking platform through its Data-to-Model Pipeline, enabling auditable evaluation across data and models.

Together, they create an end-to-end framework linking distributed data collection with verifiable model evaluation.

What the Partnership Delivers

The partnership goes beyond adding more data to OpenRoboto. Axis is plugging directly into the subnet’s training and evaluation loop, giving miners both the material to improve their models and the infrastructure to measure those improvements.

1. Over 3 million multi-modal trajectories into the Open Data Pool: Miners across SN80 gain immediate access to training data at a scale most robotics teams cannot assemble internally.

2. Axis powers the Data-to-Model Pipeline for benchmarking: Every submission gets evaluated against consistent, auditable data infrastructure.

3. Randomized LIBERO-Pro environments handle scoring: Only a strictly better model replaces the current base, keeping the leaderboard honest.

4. The framework runs end-to-end: Distributed data collection, competitive model fine-tuning, and verifiable evaluation all sit inside one loop.

Every improvement built on top of OpenRoboto now benefits from a data foundation Axis has already validated at scale.

Where This Points

Robotics has long faced two major bottlenecks: real-world training data and independent model verification. OpenRoboto addresses the incentive side of fine-tuning, while Axis strengthens the data foundation underneath it.

Together, they connect data collection, model competition, and evaluation within a single continuous framework. For Bittensor, this offers a clear example of its incentive layer driving practical progress in physical AI.
