$18,877. For one introduction.
That is what you can earn on Lium (SN51) by bringing a single B300 node to its GPU marketplace. Refer an H200 node and you earn $10,180. Bring in five B300 nodes and you are looking at roughly $94,000 in USDT over a year.
Lium, the decentralised GPU rental marketplace on Bittensor Subnet 51, has launched a provider referral program that rewards people for introducing GPU owners to the network.
You don’t need to own a GPU, run a node or hold any alpha to take part. All you need is a referral code and someone with hardware.
How the money adds up
For every GPU a referred provider lists that is new to Lium, you earn 4% of its rental billing for 12 months. The provider you refer also gets a 1% bonus on the same GPUs for the same period, on top of their full rental share. Both payments come out of Lium’s fee, so the provider gives up nothing by using your code.
12-month estimates for a full 8-GPU node:
| Node | Your 12-month reward (4%) | Referred provider’s bonus (1%) |
|---|---|---|
| 8× B300 | $18,877 | ~$4,719 |
| 8× H200 | $10,180 | ~$2,545 |
Working backwards, $18,877 is 4% of roughly $472,000 in annual rental billing, which is what an 8× B300 node brings in if it stays rented around the clock at about $6.70 per GPU-hour. The H200 figure implies about $3.60 per GPU-hour. Your actual payout will depend on the price the provider sets and how much of the year the node is rented.
The math scales with every node. Refer a data centre with ten H200 nodes and the estimate passes $100,000.
Have GPUs? Here’s what they could earn on Lium

The program isn’t limited to flagship hardware. Lium supports datacentre cards, workstation RTX PRO GPUs and consumer GeForce RTX 30, 40, and 50 series cards.
Based on Lium’s live pricing, here is what an 8-GPU node bills in a month if it stays fully rented, and what that is worth to you as the referrer:
| GPU (8-GPU node) | Live price per GPU-hour | Monthly billing, fully rented | Your 12-month referral (4%) |
|---|---|---|---|
| B300 | $8.50 | ~$49,600 | ~$23,800 |
| B200 | $5.50 – $6.53 | $32,100 – $38,100 | $15,400 – $18,300 |
| H200 | $2.75 – $4.23 | $16,100 – $24,700 | $7,700 – $11,900 |
| H100 | $1.20 – $2.75 | $7,000 – $16,100 | $3,400 – $7,700 |
| RTX PRO 6000 (Server) | $1.19 – $1.85 | $6,900 – $10,800 | $3,300 – $5,200 |
| A100 SXM4 80GB | $0.50 – $1.23 | $2,900 – $7,200 | $1,400 – $3,400 |
| RTX 5090 | $0.50 – $0.85 | $2,900 – $5,000 | $1,400 – $2,400 |
| RTX 4090 | $0.30 – $0.58 | $1,800 – $3,400 | $840 – $1,600 |
| RTX 3090 | $0.13 – $0.40 | $760 – $2,300 | $360 – $1,100 |
These are ceilings, not guarantees. They assume 730 rented hours a month, and the figures are what renters pay, of which the provider keeps most.
Prices are set by each provider and change constantly. Also note that consumer rigs often run fewer than eight cards, so scale those rows down accordingly.
There’s a floor, too. Idle datacentre GPUs that qualify still earn idle pay from subnet emissions, with Lium’s validator currently paying $6.40 per GPU-hour for an unrented B300.
For referrers, the rule of thumb is simple: every $10,000 a month a referred node bills puts roughly $4,800 in your pocket over 12 months.
Who you should be talking to
The program is built for anyone who knows people with GPUs: data centre operators, GPU farms, former crypto miners, AI startups sitting on spare capacity, gamers and hobbyists with high-end RTX cards, and hardware owners who have never listed on a decentralised marketplace before.
Lium gives those providers a strong pitch of their own. Providers keep their rental share, get paid daily, and earn idle pay from subnet emissions when eligible datacentre GPUs (H100, H200, B200, B300, A100, L40S, L40) sit unrented.
How to participate

- Go to the Refer a Provider page and sign in with any e-mail or Google account. You don’t need a node. Copy your referral code (it starts with
PROV-) or your referral link. - Share it with a GPU owner. They can sign up through your link, or enter your code on the signup form or under Were you referred? in their portal, within 72 hours of their first sign-in.
- Once they list their GPUs, each GPU that is new to Lium starts earning for you from its first billed day.
Your rewards build up in a referral balance on the same page.
Getting paid
- Each day’s reward becomes withdrawable 14 days later. If the rental behind it is refunded or declined before then, the reward is taken back.
- Withdrawals open once you have at least $50 available.
- You can withdraw as USDT on Ethereum to your saved payout address, or as Lium credits. Accounts created with e-mail or Google are paid in USDT only.
- Once your withdrawals in a calendar month pass $2,000, further withdrawals need a Lium operator’s approval.
The fine print
Only GPUs Lium has never seen before, on any account, qualify. Cards that were previously on Lium, cards moved from another account, MIG slices and sets of IDs that look generated do not earn. If a node has a mix, it pays in proportion: six new GPUs out of eight pays 6/8 of the reward.
Rentals made by you or the referred provider don’t count. Each provider can only be referred once, you can’t use your own code, and links where the referrer and provider look like the same operator are put under review. Lium also notes that the rate and duration may change, or the program may end.
Bittensor’s referral economy keeps growing
Lium joins a growing list of subnets turning community connections into a distribution channel. Engy (SN53) pays 10% of referred customers’ API spending for 12 months, and SayGM (SN28) rewards affiliates with up to $1 in alpha for every $1 their developers spend.
Lium’s program stands out for the size of each ticket. One GPU owner with a single high-end node is worth more than most referral programs pay in a year.
Disclosure: The TAO Daily participates in Lium’s provider referral program. If you list GPUs on Lium through our referral link and they qualify as new to Lium, The TAO Daily may earn 4% of their rental billing for 12 months, and you’ll receive a 1% bonus on the same GPUs.
