About ChipForge

ChipForge is a decentralized platform for collaborative silicon and hardware design, where engineers worldwide compete to create optimized AI accelerators and other digital components. Participants, known as miners, submit hardware designs (in Verilog/SystemVerilog) to periodic on-chain challenges, which are evaluated by validators using industry-standard EDA tools. Designs are scored on real AI workloads for speed, area, and power efficiency, with top performers rewarded in TAO tokens. The project aims to advance open hardware innovation, progressing from digital design to physical chip fabrication, and is built on Bittensor subnet 108.
