Inference Labs has announced that DaniLabs will take over DSperse (SN2) as the network moves its focus toward fast, affordable AI inference.
The subnet will be led by Dan Ivanov, who joined Inference Labs from the Opentensor Foundation and helped scale DSperse through applied research. The transition marks a new chapter for SN2, with Dan overseeing its development under DaniLabs.
Under Inference Labs, SN2 became known for its work on verifiable AI, with its developers and community producing more than 6 billion cryptographic proofs.
These proofs help verify that AI predictions were generated correctly without requiring the entire computation to be repeated. The team also made progress in zero-knowledge machine learning (zkML), a technology that uses cryptography to verify AI computations.
This research established the technical foundation for SN2’s development on Bittensor.

DaniLabs, Distributed Accelerated Neural Intelligence, now plans to develop SN2 into an AI inference network built around privacy, speed, and affordability.
The team aims to process user prompts and AI responses without storing them afterward, deliver faster responses, and reduce the cost of running AI models for developers and applications.
The service is still in early development, with technical details, pricing, and launch plans yet to be announced.
