Chutes (SN64) has officially announced Christian Hyland as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), following months of him leading the subnet’s go-to-market strategy. The team credits his prior contributions with reshaping how the company operates in a fast-moving AI market.

Hyland brings a background spanning Coinbase, Toku, First Wave AI, and Accenture into his new mandate at the top of Chutes (SN64). He spent a quarter of a decade at Coinbase across engagement management inside Professional Services covering ecosystem partnerships.
Before Coinbase, he served two years at Accenture as a Management Consultant working on merger analysis and program delivery. He co-founded First Wave AI in late 2024, running the generative AI strategy company for nearly two years before joining Chutes (SN64).
The appointment arrives during a stretch of real institutional attention flowing toward Chutes across the market. SN64 was featured on an industry watch list of Bittensor projects positioned for breakthrough valuation across six months.
That timing means the leadership transition arrives during accelerating commercial momentum. Promoting someone already inside the team signals continuity of the commercial motion Hyland has been building instead of a change in direction.
