After months of anticipation, the Taostats mobile app – a comprehensive on-chain dashboard for the Bittensor ($TAO) network – is now officially live on the iOS App Store. The release, confirmed by Taostats founder Mogmachine, marks a key milestone in making the Bittensor ecosystem more accessible to users on the go.
The announcement post, captioned “About. Fucking. Time.”, quickly gained traction on X, amassing over 2,500 views and 110 likes within hours. It also included a screenshot of the App Store listing, signaling the end of a lengthy approval process that had tested the patience of the project’s community.
Developed by T34 Corporation FZCO, the free iOS app is compatible with iPhone and iPod touch devices running iOS 15.1 or later. It brings together several core tools for Bittensor participants in one interface, including:
- Unified Wallet Management: Securely manage accounts and assets from a single dashboard.
- TAO Staking: Stake tokens to earn rewards and contribute to network consensus.
- Alpha Token Trading: Buy and sell subnet-specific tokens with ease.
- Real-Time Analytics: Monitor blockchain data, subnet performance, and custom dashboards.
The app aims to deliver a streamlined experience similar to “Coinbase, but for Bittensor,” minimizing the need for browser extensions or third-party tools.
Community response has been overwhelmingly positive. Louise Beattie wrote, “At last… Taostats now available for iOS as well as Android. @mogmachine never stops producing,” while @too_da_moon_ celebrated it as “officially approved and ready for release.” Olaige, Editor-in-Chief of TAO Daily, added, “Congratulations to @taostats for having the app available on iOS. The iOS release follows the app’s success on Android and further strengthens Bittensor’s mobile footprint.
