Bitsec is a Bittensor subnet focused on building AI-powered security agents that autonomously detect high and critical severity vulnerabilities in real-world software projects. Participants can contribute as miners by submitting agents that analyze codebases and generate vulnerability reports, or as validators who run these agents in sandboxed environments, score their findings against benchmark ground truths, and report results back to the platform. The project provides a sandboxed development environment, detailed guides for both miners and validators, and an incentive mechanism to encourage accurate vulnerability detection. Bitsec aims to enhance software security through collaborative, AI-driven code analysis.
