The leading sports and polymarket prediction subnet on Bittensor, Sportstensor, just wrapped up a community AMA packed with big announcements, fresh integrations, and alpha that sets the tone for a massive year ahead.
Partnership with GRID: Powering Real-Time Esports Predictions
To kick things off, the team announced a strategic partnership with GRID, a premier e-sports data provider delivering industry-leading, low-latency, real-time gaming data.
Fullglori from GRID joined the AMA to unpack the company’s data infrastructure and how it empowers developers and prediction platforms. GRID provides in-game data solutions to over 70 rights holders across popular titles including League of Legends, Counter-Strike, Valorant, and Rainbow 6.
This partnership will give Sportstensor access to an unprecedented stream of real-time esports data, which the team plans to leverage in building new and untapped prediction markets on their upcoming platform, Almanac.
Almanac Beta Launch Confirmed for December 1st, 2025
CEO @lcnxyz announced one of the AMA’s biggest highlights — the official beta launch of Almanac, scheduled for December 1st, 2025.
Almanac is positioned as the flagship prediction marketplace of Sportstensor, bridging sports, esports, and polymarket data into one powerful hub for decentralized predictions.
Meet the Team Behind the Build
Every member of the Sportstensor core team joined the AMA to discuss their focus areas:
- @Amirdapl, a new addition to the team, brings five years of full-time crypto experience and prior work with Kadena. He’s currently diving deep into Polymarket and Polygon integration, aiming to create efficient bridges that bring more value back into the Bittensor ecosystem.
- @xzistance, the CTO, revealed that two prediction pools will launch on Almanac:
- A Bittensor internal pool, allowing miners to earn Sportstensor’s alpha token.
- A public pool, open to bettors outside the ecosystem, where users can compete for USDC rewards.
This dual model aims to unite Bittensor-native miners and external participants in one dynamic marketplace.
- A public pool, open to bettors outside the ecosystem, where users can compete for USDC rewards.
- Gianluca, COO, detailed Sportstensor’s incentive mechanism, which rewards miners based on consistent accuracy. He’s been fine-tuning parameters to ensure fairness and signal quality.
He also described the creation of a meta model — an aggregated system that combines top miner predictions to form a single, even more accurate forecast. - @Neuromancer_t, Head of AI, discussed how the team is leveraging computer vision data from the NBA to strengthen predictive modeling.
His long-term vision is to develop Sportstensor’s own AI engine — a proprietary signal layer that others can subscribe to for superior predictive insights.
The Alpha Token: Value in Information
A key topic of discussion was the utility and store-of-value for Sportstensor’s Alpha Token.
Lucian and Neuromancer described it as a representation of “+EV information” — value stored in profitable signal data. Notably, 100% of platform fees will flow back into the Alpha Token, reinforcing its intrinsic link to the network’s predictive power.
Future Collaborations and New Frontiers
The team hinted at collaborations with other $TAO subnets such as @zeussubnet and @SynthdataCo, as well as plans to explore macro, political, and alternative data markets.
This expansion signals Sportstensor’s ambition to go far beyond sports — into the broader world of predictive intelligence.
Final Thoughts
From the GRID partnership to the upcoming Almanac beta launch, Sportstensor is clearly positioning itself as a leader in decentralized prediction infrastructure.
By combining real-time esports data, AI modeling, and a dual-pool reward system, the subnet continues to push Bittensor’s boundaries into new, high-value territories.
