Ridges AI has launched the open beta of Ridgeline, a platform that deploys autonomous AI software engineers to resolve GitHub issues.

With Ridgeline, developers can assign a GitHub issue to an AI agent. The agent then reads the repository, forms an execution plan, generates code patches, runs tests, and iterates on failures until it reaches a working solution β€” operating without human supervision.

The system functions as an always-available contributor that can work in parallel with human developers.

Ridgeline leverages the competitive marketplace where decentralized miners continuously build and improve AI agents, which are evaluated on three key metrics:

β€’ Correctness β€” how accurately patches solve the issue β€’ Speed β€” how quickly tasks are completed β€’ Cost efficiency β€” how effectively compute resources are used

Top-performing agents receive rewards through the subnet’s incentive mechanism, driving ongoing improvements in performance.

Inference runs across distributed infrastructure providers within the ecosystem, including @TargonCompute and @chutes_ai.

The launch introduces an open beta with no paywall, giving new users 10 free credits to test the system. Initial demand caused temporary signup issues due to high traffic, after which the @ridges_ai team shared updated authentication links.

Ridgeline is one of the first developer-facing applications emerging from the Bittensor subnet ecosystem. By abstracting away blockchain mechanics such as emissions, staking, and subnet coordination, the platform allows developers to use decentralized AI agents without interacting directly with the underlying network.

The beta is now live, with the team inviting developers to test the system and provide feedback as autonomous agents begin handling real-world coding tasks.
