Omega Labs just rolled out two new features in Bittensor’s Subnet 24, and they might be the biggest quality-of-life improvements yet. The goal is to make it easier for anyone to plan, record, and deliver work without setup stress or switching between tools.
Upload From Anywhere
One of the updates is called Direct Uploads. Before now, recording tasks could be frustrating, especially for people using company systems or virtual machines. Recorders froze, uploads failed, and everything felt slower than it should.
That has changed. Users can now record their work, upload the video straight into Focus chat, drop a few instructions, and it instantly becomes a task. No installations, no extra setup needed. It simply works, even on restricted machines.
This means teams can use their own recording tools, move faster, and get work into the system without worrying about compatibility issues.
A Smarter Way to Plan Your Day

The second feature, Daily To-do List, helps turn scattered thoughts into structured action. Users just type their tasks or ideas into Focus chat, and they appear in stages neatly listed in a side panel. From there, users can switch between them (different tasks), track progress, and keep your flow going.
It’s built for people who move between projects all day (creators, engineers, researchers), or anyone who needs focus without friction.
Why It Matters
Both updates feed into Subnet 24’s broader vision: real work as real data. Every task created through Focus strengthens the Subnet 24 proof-of-focus pipeline, improving model performance across the Bittensor ecosystem.
More usable work data means better AI coordination and stronger network rewards over time.
The Bigger Picture
Focus is turning attention into something measurable and valuable. With Direct Uploads and the Daily To-do List now live on focus.inc, anyone can contribute, track, and finish meaningful work in one place.
The experience is smoother, the workflow is way smarter and the system is getting stronger with every task.
