The Djinn project, also known as SN103 or “The Genius-Idiot Network,” has set a new record on Bitstarter, Bittensor’s on-chain crowdfunding platform, by completing its raise in just 51 minutes.

The campaign hit its full target of 600 TAO, with 35 early participants contributing an average of 17.17 TAO each. This is the fastest in Bitstarter’s history, surpassing all previous pledges and signaling strong demand for high-quality subnet launches.

Since launching in November 2025, Bitstarter has facilitated 1,640 TAO across three campaigns. The Djinn raise alone accounts for a significant share of that total, highlighting how quickly capital can now be mobilized within the Bittensor ecosystem.

Community reaction was immediate.

Several prominent voices described the speed of the raise as proof that Bittensor is the fastest place for talented teams to turn ideas into reality and receive instant backing. Others praised Bitstarter’s execution, noting the platform felt smooth, intuitive, and clearly built by ecosystem insiders.

According to Bitstarter’s post-raise update, Djinn backers will begin receiving bi-weekly alpha distributions starting Monday, February 2, 2026, with distributions continuing every Monday thereafter. These rewards are tied to the subnet’s performance on Bittensor.

Bitstarter also recently announced upcoming distributions for Quasar (SN24), a subnet focused on long-context language model evaluation. Quasar distributions begin on January 26, 2026, with a doubled initial payout to account for earlier scheduling changes.
