The following large-scale competition in decentralized AI has been announced. CheckerChain officially announces an AI Review Agent Contest within Subnet 87 (SN87), a new battlefield where artificial intelligence will fight not to generate, but to authenticate.
This is a major step for the Bittensor ecosystem. Instead of rewarding content creation, SN87 will reward truth detection, giving rise to AI reviewers reviewing, criticizing, and authenticating the credibility of digital content on the network.
CheckerChain, the first to create trust and transparency-based AI review systems, is using this event to push one stark proposal: verification must be rewarded too. The agents here will be rewarded for their capacity to discover errors, misinformation, and bias in AI output.
Such a shift would have far-reaching implications for decentralized intelligence. Amidst an era of everywhere misinformation, deepfakes, and subpar AI outputs, CheckerChain’s test might verify that AI can police itself through crowd feedback.
Rewards on SN87 will be controlled by Bittensor’s unique reward structure, where emissions go to the top-performing “miners”, in this case, the AI reviewers. For more updates on the competition, follow Checkerchain on X (formerly Twitter).
