The Bittensor ecosystem continues to grow with fresh innovations, partnerships, and achievements across its subnets. From new integrations and protocol upgrades to expanding real-world partnerships, here are the top highlights from last week (October Week 1) across the network.
Subnet Updates & Achievements
➤ Sportstensor (SN41)
Sportstensor teased Almanac Market, its upcoming information incentivization layer for prediction markets — built in partnership with Polymarket.
➤ Score (SN44)
Score joined the Paris FC business club, further bridging decentralized tech with mainstream sports.
They also announced plans to expand their subnet vision toward smart city infrastructure (link).
➤ Gradients (SN56)
With Gradients 5.0, the project open-sourced its competition framework — and open miners have now reached parity with legacy miners, marking a major step for decentralization.
➤ Chutes (SN64)
Founder Jon Durbin revealed new revenue and miner offset ratio charts, while Chutes introduced support for private tokens, expanding its inference privacy capabilities.
➤ Metanova (SN68)
Metanova is evolving its Nova competition, allowing miners to submit search algorithms with privacy-preserving mechanisms — testnet coming soon.
They also rolled out an updated dashboard ahead of the new incentive mechanism.
➤ BitQuant (SN15)
BitQuant launched a swap feature with a point-earning system for traders. The project also surpassed 2 million users across 170+ countries, solidifying its global reach.
➤ Macrocosmos x Chutes (SN1 x SN64)
Apex, a Macrocosmos product, joined the Rayon Labs accelerator and is now using Chutes for inference workloads.
➤ Data Universe (SN13)
Macrocosmos launched a new landing page for Data Universe, its data aggregation subnet.
➤ IOTA (SN9)
The IOTA team shared performance updates: 50% faster training and 80% higher throughput on staging — major optimizations in subnet efficiency.
➤ 0xMarkets (SN35)
The team announced they will pause alpha token burns to accumulate tokens for an upcoming airdrop within their ecosystem.
➤ BitMind (SN34)
BitMind’s AI detection engine can now identify Sora 2-generated videos in under 10 seconds, advancing its deepfake detection capabilities.
➤ Taoshi (SN8)
Taoshi launched its first crypto and forex strategy on Glitch Financial, opening a new product line for traders.
➤ Tatsu (SN84)
Tatsu introduced a challenge leaderboard for its Chipforge competition — enhancing gamified participation within the subnet.
