February Week 4 showed continued production improvements, infrastructure expansion, and real-world traction across the Bittensor ecosystem. From RPC infrastructure going live and new distributed inference systems in development, to prediction market growth, subnet roadmaps, and ecosystem-wide performance benchmarks, the decentralized AI network continues to mature across every layer of the stack.
Subnet Updates & Achievements
Blockmachine (SN19)
Blockmachineβs RPC infrastructure is now live, and through 13 active nodes theyβre already serving real production traffic for Taostats. The team also released a comprehensive 33-page whitepaper, outlining their architecture and long-term vision for decentralized infrastructure reliability.
Score (SN44)
MANIFEST is now live on the Score subnet. The system aims to enable scalable, real-world vision deployment across multiple industries simultaneously, pushing decentralized computer vision toward broader enterprise adoption.
Chutes (SN64)
Chutes announced several important updates to their public offerings, including changes to subscription pricing. They also partnered with APUβs AI Club to host a hands-on workshop on March 6, continuing their focus on education and developer onboarding.
Synth (SN50)
Synth introduced Polymarket 1-Hour and 15-Minute Markets, expanding short-duration prediction capabilities and increasing trading flexibility.
Targon (SN4)
You can now deploy and build OpenClaw agents using the Targon Rentals template, lowering the barrier to launching agent infrastructure.
IOTA (SN9)
The Train at Home app has surpassed 2,100 downloads, and the team also launched a new Train at Home run, signaling continued community engagement.
Handshake (SN58)
Handshake now integrates with TPN (SN65), Taostats, FlameWire (SN97), and Apify. In addition, Handshake Payments is now live as a ClawHub Skill, expanding agent-native commerce capabilities.
Talisman (SN45)
Talisman TG signals are now live on their subnet, adding new signal infrastructure for users.
Almanac (SN41)
Almanac has surpassed $1,000,000 in volume, marking a key liquidity milestone.
Metanova (SN68)
NOVA Blueprint reportedly outperforms Thompson Sampling on a challenging oncology target, highlighting performance gains in scientific modeling.
Vidaio (SN85)
Vidaio compared its compression pipeline to Bitmovin and reported higher VMAF performance across the curve, demonstrating competitive video infrastructure results.
Gittensor (SN74)
A Gittensor miner recently had a PR merged into the go-ethereum core codebase, marking a notable open-source milestone.
Aurelius (SN37)
Aurelius published its new roadmap, outlining upcoming phases and product direction.
Basilic (SN39)
The Basilica team is actively developing Catechism, their new distributed inference solution, aimed at advancing decentralized model execution.
SOMA (SN114)
The SOMA GitHub repository is now public, increasing transparency and developer accessibility.
New Subnets
GroundLayer (SN20)
GroundLayer is a newly launched OTC marketplace for Bittensor subnet tokens, built by taoshiio and TeamRizzoAI. The platform introduces structured secondary market infrastructure for subnet assets.
Bittensor Ecosystem Developments
Yuma Group
Yuma unveiled the Yuma Composite Index (YCX), a price-based, market-cap-weighted benchmark designed to track the full universe of Bittensor subnets.
Opentensor
Opentensor is hosting the Bittensor Subnet Ideathon at the Sankalp Africa Summit in Nairobi, further expanding global ecosystem engagement.
Church of Rao
Church of Rao has begun community discussions around Bittensorβs on-chain governance system, signaling deeper governance dialogue within the network.
