AlphaCore Launches as Bittensor Subnet 66 With a Focus on Autonomous DevOps Agents

AlphaCore Launches as Bittensor Subnet 66
Read Time:46 Second

AlphaCore is now live as Subnet 66 on the Bittensor network ($TAO), marking the arrival of a specialized environment for training and benchmarking autonomous DevOps agents. The subnet is designed to push forward agents capable of performing real-world cloud operations, including provisioning, monitoring, scaling, and cost optimization.

How It Works

Miners in Subnet 66 compete by executing real DevOps tasks in live cloud environments. Validators verify these outputs inside secure sandboxes, with future plans to integrate Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) to ensure trustless, verifiable task execution. This setup mirrors the successful approach of Subnet 62 (Ridges), which focuses on autonomous coding agents.

Economic Model

AlphaCore aims to build the leading open-source DevOps agent on Bittensor. Once commercialized, revenue generated by the agent service will be used for $TAO buybacks, creating a self-reinforcing economic flywheel for the subnet and its participants.
