How Engy (SN53) Processed ~50 Billion Tokens in 24 Hours

Engy processed over 50 billion AI tokens in 24 hours, marking fivefold monthly growth as it powers affordable, verifiable inference for open-weight AI models.

How Engy (SN53) Processed ~50 Billion Tokens in 24 Hours

Engy (SN53), a decentralized AI inference platform built on Bittensor, has announced a new milestone after processing more than 50 billion tokens in a single day.

The achievement represents approximately fivefold growth from the roughly 10 billion tokens processed daily a month earlier, highlighting the platform’s rapidly expanding usage.

Engy provides businesses and developers with access to powerful open-weight AI models without requiring them to operate expensive computing infrastructure.

Through its API, customers can access models such as GLM-5.3-Flash, DeepSeek V4.1 Flash, Kimi K3, and Qwen, with pricing on several models reportedly 30% to 90% below official provider rates. The platform also supports zero data retention on many models, making it an option for developers concerned about privacy and operating costs.

Operating as on Bittensor, Engy uses a decentralized network of miners to provide the computing power needed to run these AI models. Its approach focuses on verifiable inference, which aims to confirm that the model a customer pays for is actually the model used to process their request. Engy reported network activity, daily processing volumes increased sharply in early October, with GLM-5.3-Flash contributing significantly to the growth.

For Bittensor, this milestone demonstrates the growing potential of decentralized AI infrastructure to serve real-world computing demand.

As developers increasingly seek affordable access to powerful AI models, platforms like Engy could benefit from offering competitive pricing, privacy protections, and verifiable model execution.

While processing volume alone does not establish revenue or profitability, Engy’s reported growth signals increasing activity on SN53 and provides another example of how Bittensor-powered services are expanding into practical AI applications.
